Danone Waters e Sleever International uniscono le forze per affrontare una duplice sfida: potenziare il marchio e impegnarsi in un processo di riciclaggio a valore aggiunto.

LDPET raggiunge i suoi obiettivi, rispettando anche le numerose conformità alimentari. Consente di recuperare bottiglie in PET, fornendo al tempo stesso un packaging distintivo per i nuovi consumatori, con icone Star Wars e Disney su bottiglie Evian e Volvic. Questa innovazione guidata dallo spirito ambientalista, riconosciuta dalle associazioni di riciclatori, si inserisce nel ciclo di smistamento delle bottiglie in PET (differenziazione, smistamento, valore). Sleever International innova e lancia la prima “Shrink Sleeve” (etichetta stampata termoretaibile, applicata sulle bottiglie e perfettamente adattabili), che consente il recupero di bottiglie in PET usate.

Il mercato delle bevande analcoliche (bibite, succhi, acque, bevande gassate e bevande gassate), in cui l’uso di bottiglie in PET associato a “Shrink Sleeve” è in costante aumento, ha affrontato per diversi anni il problema del recupero degli imballaggi.

Sleever International, partner a lungo termine di questo settore, si è unita all’interesse dei produttori sullo sviluppo sostenibile e ha inventato per loro un nuovo prodotto, LDPET, che consente loro di soddisfare i propri obiettivi di riciclabilità.

Con LDPET, che include un film PET a bassa densità (SI-TPEG / 050 ZL) sviluppato da Sleever International, i produttori di bevande possono beneficiare, per la prima volta in assoluto, di una soluzione che consente di separare le etichette dalle bottiglie senza alcuna operazione manuale.

Il film plastico stampato è realizzato con inchiostri specificamente progettati per resistere al trattamento di segregazione dei materiali senza alcun rischio di contaminazione per i fiocchi di PET.

Questa importante innovazione, frutto della collaborazione tra le piattaforme tecniche di Sleever International, consente di ottenere un PET riciclato di materiali che soddisfano la maggior parte delle aspettative dei riciclatori.

Grazie a una densità specifica, LDPET può essere facilmente smistato in serbatoi di sedimentazione. I fiocchi LDPET galleggiano mentre i fiocchi delle bottiglie in PET affondano sul fondo del serbatoio. I materiali PET sono quindi riciclati e recuperati.

Grazie alla sua esperienza integrata nel processo di produzione delle etichette termoretraibili (produzione e lavorazione dei film plastici, applicazione delle etichette), Sleever International fornisce ai produttori di bevande una soluzione “chiavi in ​​mano”, pienamente operativa.

Questa soluzione consente l’etichettatura totale o parziale di bottiglie da 20 cl a 2 litri, con produzione compresa tra 15.000 e 30.000 bottiglie all’ora.

Sleever International innovates and launches the first shrink sleeve made from low density PET, which enables recovering of used PET bottles.

The non-alcoholic beverage market (soft-drinks, juices, waters, still drinks and carbonated beverages), on which the use of PET bottles associated with shrink sleeves is steadily increasing, is faced for several years with the problem of packaging recovery.

Sleever International, a long-term partner of this industry, joined with manufacturers‘thoughts on sustainable development and invented for them a new product, the LDPET, which enables them to meet their recyclability objectives.

With LDPET, which includes a low density PET film (SI-TPEG/050 ZL) developed by Sleever International, beverage manufacturers can benefit, for the first time ever, from a solution that allows to separate sleeves from bottles without any manual operation.

The printed film uses inks that are specifically designed to withstand the materials segregation treatment with no risk of contamination for the PET flakes.

This major innovation, a result of the cooperation between Sleever International’s technical platforms, allows to obtain a recycled PET of materials meeting a most of the recyclers expectations.

Thanks to a specific density, the LDPET can be easily sorted out in sedimentation tanks. The LDPET flakes float whereas the flakes of PET bottles sink to the bottom of the tank. Pet materials are thus recycled and recovered.

Through its integrated expertise of the shrink sleeve production process (film manufacturing and processing, sleeve application), Sleever International provides beverages manufacturers with a turnkey solution, fully operational.
